The exhibition took place from September 3-5 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. At the event, WestFood introduced its portfolio of processed agricultural products, production capabilities, and raw material areas, while strengthening connections with international buyers, distributors, and business partners.

Specifically, the company showcased a range of processed products made from Vietnamese fruits and vegetables, including canned fruits, fruit cups, IQF frozen fruits and vegetables, soft-dried fruits, as well as various products developed to meet the needs of international customers. WestFood’s products meet a range of international standards and certifications, including FDA, IFS, BRC, HALAL, FSSC, and FSMA, and are currently exported to more than 40 markets across five continents.
Participating in Viet Nam International Sourcing 2026 also provided WestFood with an opportunity to showcase its production capabilities, which have been significantly strengthened through recent investments. In September 2025, the WestFood Hau Giang Factory commenced operations on an area of more than 7 hectares, with a total investment of VND 666 billion and an annual capacity of 30,000 tons of finished products. The factory is equipped with advanced European processing technology and automated production lines, contributing to WestFood’s supply capacity for both domestic and international markets.

Alongside its processing capabilities, WestFood is developing raw material areas to secure supply and strengthen product quality control - factors that are becoming increasingly important as international markets raise their requirements for food safety, production standards, and supply chain transparency. The company is currently developing growing areas for King MD2 pineapple, papaya, mango, dragon fruit, lotus seeds, and other crops, gradually connecting raw material areas with harvesting, processing, and export operations.

For WestFood, participating in the exhibition was not only an opportunity to showcase its products but also a platform to understand market needs, explore suitable cooperation models, expand markets, further develop its product portfolio in line with the requirements of different customer groups, and gradually deepen its participation in global supply chains.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, Chairwoman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of WestFood, said that participating in Viet Nam International Sourcing 2026 provided an opportunity for the company to strengthen direct connections with international buyers and partners while showcasing Vietnam’s processing capabilities and raw material resources. “As a pioneer in Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable processing industry, particularly in tropical fruits, we aim not only to expand our export markets but also to build long-term partnerships that create sustainable value for our business, farmers, and Vietnam’s agricultural sector,” Ms. Nguyet said.

Viet Nam International Sourcing 2026 was co-organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and brought together approximately 500 Vietnamese export businesses and more than 500 international business delegations from over 60 countries and territories. The exhibition adopted a “One Destination - Multi-Sector” model, focusing on four key sectors, including food and beverages. It was one of the trade promotion activities aimed at connecting Vietnamese businesses with international partners and expanding market opportunities.
